Welcome to Equestrian Fitness.com! Merriam-Webster defines the noun
equestrian as one who rides on horseback. The definition should say
"an athlete who rides on horseback"! Make no mistake about it, whether
you compete in one of the many equestrian disciplines or ride for
pleasure you are engaging in athletic activity which means you
are an athlete.

We all know that in order to become stronger on the horse we need to
ride as often as possible, but an important thing to remember is that all
athletes, regardless of sport, need to have a strength and conditioning regimen that is individually set up for that sport. Not only does this help the necessary muscles perform the needed task, but it also allows them to absorb the load of activity that the sport requires.

The pandemic has certainly changed up our training routines. Depending on where you live, you may have been riding just the same amount or you could have been shut down. Either way, a strength and conditioning program will benefit you greatly. Use the contact box below to learn more!
